The initial establishment of a Fellowship program will be a position ranging from six to 12 months.
The requirements include a medical degree and successful completion of otolaryngology training.
Application can be made through this website via email or by mail with a cover letter describing your interest and your current resume. Additional requirements would then be forwarded to you.
The Fellowship position is open to both Australian trained and overseas trained ENT Surgeons.
Funding for the position is significantly limited and the candidate must have medical registration and licence within Australia to qualify.
There are shorter periods available to visit the Queensland Centre for Voice and such observerships can be formalised directly by contacting Dr Broadhurst.
An observership does not allow for any patient contact but is still highly valuable.
To enable patient contact, the Fellow requires medical indemnity insurance, which is arranged by the Fellow.
