Arrangements are in process for the establishment of a dedicated Laryngeal Surgery Fellowship. On completion of these arrangements, candidates will be interviewed and the first successful candidate will become a Fellow at the Queensland Centre for Otolaryngology and the Queensland Voice Centre. The aim of this position is to enable ENT Surgeons who have completed their specialist training to undergo further training in the area of laryngeal surgery and learn up to date and progressive techniques and technologies involved in laryngeal surgery and voice restoration. To date, there is no subspecialised Laryngeal Surgery Fellowship position of this nature in Australia.
